The aim of the programme – to prepare highly qualified masters of agricultural science, animal husbandry field capable to creatively apply the newest knowledge, methods and technologies in animal husbandry practice, capable to independently carry out analysis, to evaluate analysis results, to perform work requesting high quality in state and private sector. Animal husbandry technologist holding a master’s degree can carry out scientific research of agricultural field, consult or manage science and education institutions, forming strategy and tactics of agricultural and food production development in establishments of authorisation, consulting services, agro business.

AFTER GRADUATION YOU CAN:

 Work in the companies making animal production, breeding system, system of forage production and its quality assessment, processing system of milk, meat and their products.
 Work in the alternative animal husbandry technology branch.
 Take leadership role in livestock farm or own business.
 Continue your education by entering PhD programmes.
 Be employed at consultation services, regional municipalities, insurance companies, institutions providing agricultural services, and educational institutions.
